Beaufort Middle School is committed to ensuring that every student is challenged, supported, and empowered to succeed. Guided by our mission, "Elevate Everyone. Every Day.", we strive to develop the whole child through rigorous academics, meaningful relationships, and engaging learning experiences that prepare students for success in high school and beyond.
During the 2025–2026 school year, Beaufort Middle School celebrated several significant accomplishments that reflect our commitment to excellence and innovation. We proudly earned designation as an AVID Highly Certified School, demonstrating our schoolwide commitment to college and career readiness through the implementation of AVID strategies and systems that promote student agency, organization, and academic success.
Beaufort Middle School was also recognized as a Cognia STEM Certified School, affirming our dedication to providing students with authentic, inquiry-based learning experiences that foster critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving. STEM principles are integrated across disciplines, ensuring students have opportunities to apply their learning in meaningful and relevant ways.
In addition, Beaufort Middle School successfully achieved Arts in Basic Curriculum (ABC) Recertification, continuing a tradition of arts integration that has been part of our school culture since 2009. Through visual arts, music, theater, dance, and cross-curricular arts experiences, students are encouraged to express creativity while deepening their understanding of academic content.
Beyond these distinctions, Beaufort Middle School remains focused on continuous improvement and student growth. Our dedicated faculty and staff work collaboratively to create a culture where students feel seen, heard, and valued. Through strong instructional practices, enriching extracurricular opportunities, and meaningful partnerships with families and the community, we are preparing students not only for academic success, but also for lifelong learning and leadership.
At Beaufort Middle School, we believe that excellence is achieved when we work together to Elevate Everyone. Every Day.
