At Camp Road Middle School (CRMS), our mission is grounded in three core beliefs: every student can achieve at high levels, the way we treat one another matters, and every student deserves to feel loved, valued, and cared for every day. These beliefs shape a culture where students are challenged academically, supported socially and emotionally, and empowered to reach their full potential.
CRMS is committed to developing the world-class knowledge, skills, and life and career characteristics outlined in the South Carolina Profile of the Graduate. Our teachers provide rigorous, standards-based instruction, use data to personalize learning, and ensure every student receives the support needed to succeed.
Students are challenged through honors, gifted and talented, and college-preparatory coursework, with opportunities to earn high school credit in courses such as Spanish I, English I, Honors Algebra I, Honors Geometry, and Fundamentals of Computing. Beyond the classroom, students grow through athletics, AVID, leadership, fine arts, engineering, and a variety of clubs that foster creativity, collaboration, and leadership.
At CRMS, college and career readiness extends beyond academics. Our nationally recognized arts and engineering programs, combined with a strong emphasis on critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving, prepare students for success in high school and beyond. Students consistently earn recognition as South Carolina Junior Scholars, Duke TIPS scholars, Region IV and All-State Band members, and SC READY high achievers.
We are equally committed to developing the whole child through comprehensive social-emotional learning, guidance services, and meaningful relationships that help students build confidence, resilience, and character. These collective efforts have earned Camp Road Middle School an Excellent rating on the South Carolina School Report Card, reflecting our unwavering commitment to excellence.
At Camp Road Middle School, excellence is defined by both achievement and character. Guided by Courage, we cultivate a community where every student is challenged, supported, and inspired to unleash their potential and become confident, compassionate, and successful leaders.
