Great Falls High School remains committed to preparing students for success in college, careers, and life through rigorous academics, career and college readiness opportunities, extracurricular programs, athletics, leadership, and service. The accomplishments of the Class of 2026 reflect the hard work and dedication of our students, staff, families, and community.
The Class of 2026 earned approximately $4.8 million in scholarship offers, demonstrating strong postsecondary preparation and achievement. Numerous graduates completed career pathways through the Chester County Career Center, earning industry-recognized skills and certifications in areas such as welding, cosmetology, health sciences, and other career fields. These opportunities provided students with preparation for both postsecondary education and entry into the workforce.
Student-athletes also demonstrated success throughout the school year. Great Falls teams earned region championships, established new school records, and reached significant program milestones. Student-athletes received All-Region and All-State honors, while the girls’ varsity basketball team advanced to the state championship level and finished as state runner-up. The girls’ soccer program, in only its second year, advanced to the state playoffs, reflecting the continued growth of the school’s athletic programs.
Leadership and community service continued to be important components of the Great Falls High School experience. Students participated in service initiatives including sponsoring blood drives, creating a book sharing location, and other community outreach activities through student organizations and leadership programs. Students also participated in statewide councils and youth leadership organizations, providing opportunities to develop leadership skills and engage with their communities beyond the school campus.
The JROTC program continued to expand, with students assuming increased responsibilities in recruitment, leadership, and public representation. Several students completed JROTC pathways with distinction and received commendations recognizing their commitment and leadership and providing students with an additional opportunity to develop focus, discipline, teamwork, and competitive skills.
As Great Falls High School looks toward the future, the school remains focused on continuous improvement and on providing every student with the knowledge, skills, character, and experiences needed to be successful in a changing global society.
